ALLOY WIRE

ZnAl alloy wire (ZnAl2, ZnAl4, ZnAl15, ZnAl22) is used for applying zinc-aluminum coatings by spray metallization to protect various steel elements and structures against corrosion. The wire is also utilized in the electrotechnical industry. The wire is produced from SHG zinc of the highest purity, 99.995% Zn.

Applying zinc-aluminum coatings by spray metallization is a modern corrosion protection method. Compared to hot-dip galvanizing and electroplating of zinc-aluminum coatings, it offers the following advantages:

  • no dimensional limitations of the coated elements,

  • the possibility of metallizing structures directly on the construction site,

  • the ability to perform coating repairs on joints or areas with mechanical damage,

  • dużą odpornością na uszkodzenia mechaniczne,

  • high resistance to mechanical damage,

  • Spray metallization eliminates the risk of thermal deformation of the protected elements.

Zinc-aluminum coatings are applied using electric or flame spray guns. Depending on the type of spray gun used, ZnAl alloy wire with appropriately selected physical properties is recommended.

PACKAGING

Endless wire:

Cardboard drums with capacities of 100, 150, and 200 kg, or steel drums ranging from 200 to 400 kg. The wire is placed inside a plastic bag, and the drums are sealed with lids. Drums are packed two or four per wooden pallet, secured with polyethylene strapping. For regular customers, the use of used drums is permitted upon agreement.

Coiled wire:

  • Coils weighing 20 kg, secured against unwinding with polyethylene strapping, placed inside cardboard boxes. Boxes are stacked on wooden pallets, secured with polyethylene strapping and optionally wrapped with stretch film.
  • Coils weighing 20 kg, secured against unwinding with polyethylene strapping, placed in cardboard drums. Drums are packed two per pallet, secured with polyethylene strapping, with a total weight of 400 kg.

Spooled wire:

Wire wound on plastic or metal (openwork) spools weighing 15 kg, placed inside cardboard boxes. Boxes are stacked on wooden pallets and secured with polyethylene strapping.
